Under the Hood

Every 2020 Volkswagen Jetta features a 16-valve, 1.4-liter turbocharged and direct-injection TSI engine producing 147 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.

Variable valve timing for both the engine’s exhaust and intake valves creates improved performance at low RPMs, along with increased torque.

Comfort & Convenience 

Available in five trims levels: S, SE, R-Line, SEL and SEL Premium, all versions of 2020 Jetta come equipped with Volkswagen’s next-generation Car-Net telematics system. The sedan can be made a Wi-Fi hotspot with subscription to a data plan.

SEL and SEL Premiums offer wireless charging. The Cold Weather package, standard on SEL models and available as an option with SE and R-Line, includes a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, heated wiper park, heated washer nozzles and remote start.

Volkswagen’s MIB II infotainment system display utilizes a capacitive-touch sensor, allowing for gesture controls like swiping and pinch-zooming.

Safety

Volkswagen’s Automatic Post-Collision Braking System, which applies the brakes when the airbag sensors detect a collision, comes standard on every 2020 Volkswagen Jetta. A rearview camera also comes standard.

Driver-assistance technologies like Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping System and High Beam Control are available as options.
